At Elwasco, our primary mission is to provide essential services that enhance the quality of life for our community. We take great pride in serving you and ensuring access to safe and clean water for all residents. We are delighted to share with you a significant community service initiative led by our dedicated CEO, Suleiman Roba. Under his able guidance, ELWASCO has been actively working towards ensuring that every individual within Elwak & its environs has access to soft and clean water.
The leadership of Mandera County visited the Sub-County Elwasco and Municipality offices to interact with service providers. We later held a series of meetings with 3 Garre sub-sections - Rer Ali, Furkesha, and Adola. The gaps, priorities, and concerns cut across various areas in Elwaq. We have heard the people, and we will discuss these matters with our leaders from the national government to find lasting solutions to the issues of electricity, roads, water, land ownership among many others.
As Elwasco, we take immense pride in our participation in the final awarding ceremony of the Youth Tournament, where our deputy CEO, Mr. Issack stood in for our CEO. The tournament, generously sponsored by NG-CDF Mandera South Constituency marked a significant occasion. During the tournament's launch, our CEO, present at the event, made commitments that were met with utmost dedication. One such commitment was the pledge to provide a free water bowser, a valuable resource aimed at aiding field improvement.
Today marks an important milestone for Elwasco as our dedicated frontline staff received uniforms and merchandise. This initiative is designed to ensure that our staff stand out while on duty, providing our customers with a clear and trusted point of contact during activities such as meter reading, revenue collection, and customer support. The uniform handover event was graced by our Deputy CEO, underscoring our commitment to professionalism and excellence in service delivery.
The company experienced change at the top office as Mr Kassim Hajji Abdinoor handed over reign to the new sheriff Mr. Suleiman Ibrahim Roba on 8th, June 2023. The ceremony which was held at Mandera County Government's Ministry of Water, Mandera, was overseen by Mr. Mohamed Omar, the CECM Water, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources and his Chief Officer Eng. Ahmed Adan in presence of the Company's board of directors. We wish Mr. Kassim Hajji the very best in his future endeavors.
